This is an excellent day and very popular amongst dentists. The day is based on a mixture of theory and hands on. The theory concentrates on the basic principles concerning bone loss, extraction technique (socket preservation), soft tissue management and assessment of the quality and quantity of bone. The practical component involves placing an implant into an artificial mandible and using the restorative fixtures involved in restoring an implant.
