“As a 20 something year qualified dentist who has seen most things at least twice, and is a good patient communicator I had a situation recently that I couldn’t fix myself, but I knew would spiral out of my control if I didn’t do something differently. I called the amazing Prof Riaz Yar. Firstly he made me feel better for having “created” this scenario myself, and that he was confident he could help me, and most importantly the patient. I was in that downward spiral of loss of control. He assessed the patient independently (with no input from me) and then we sat down and discussed the case and how to move forward. I was expecting to hand the patient over and to be landed with a very big bill from one of the leading prosthodontist in the uk to help this patient. Then the best outcome happened, Riaz suggested mentoring the case with me. Two very educational sessions with me, the patient and Riaz and the patient is delighted and will now be my biggest advocate for word of mouth referrals. His mentoring is fabulous, a mixture skills gained over many years at the coal face, an empathetic delivery relevant to the real world scenario. I can’t say how much these two session have changed my dentistry on these complicated cases, but I know it’s considerably more than the very reasonable mentoring fees. If you need just that little bit of help planning, finishing, organising, or finishing off a case- I couldn’t recommend Riaz more highly, as a clinician, educator, councillor, and all round nice human being.”

Professor Yar sorted out my problem, first by diagnosing it at the onset several months ago. He then expertly measured and supplied a device, which, by its nature required several visits afterwards, and he tweaked the device each time to make it fit comfortably. At the end of my last session, he explained everything thoroughly. My problem had been solved to my satisfaction
Everything was excellent. From the reception to the treatment – with no discomfort.
And the finished teeth are stunning, exactly what I wanted.

Professor Riaz answered all my questions and was available for out of hours to answer an aftercare question.
Received a very warm welcome from the start, followed by a very professional and extremely caring consultation with Prof Riaz Yar. This was my first encounter with The Square, and I could not have asked for a better reception. Whilst my treatment hasn’t commenced as yet, I have every faith in Riaz.
